By decoupling harmful consumption from economic growth, we can commence to address the long-term, systemic problems we face. We start with our well-being first, and shift business and government towards cradle-to-cradle and sustainable development and promote a new economy based on our total capacity of natural resources. Based on economic principles of “what we measure affects what we do”, integration of the demand for our global goals and the environment as part of public and private development is necessary for sustainable goals.
